The BRIDGE2Growth Project

In the BRIDGE2Growth project 4 European regions are answering the call for delivering on EU RTD objectives and for meeting the challenges of the knowledge-driven economy head on.

The aim of BRIDGE2Growth is to rise to the challenge of boosting private investments in research. The project will especially explore ways to promote SME involvement and investment in the RTD process and thereby mobilize the massive resources of the European SME community.

Specifically the project will:

• Map the regional investment environments and identify the barriers for increased private investment
• Develop, adapt and validate policy guidelines, tools, templates and training schemes for regional authorities and policy-makers
• Package and disseminate policy guidelines, templates, tools and training schemes in the BRIDGE2Growth Handbook and Toolbox
